Shake it up!

Helloย  – yes I’m already back again but this time with wonderful news: I am now part of the amazing and creative Design Team at Simply Crafty SVGsโ€ฆ.wooo hoooo!!!!!

This will be my first DT project post and for this I have chosen to make the deliciousย Milkshake ๐Ÿ˜›

This yummy 3D project is made from AC Cardstock in Aqua, White, Bubblegum, Grass and Crimson along with patterned paper from DCWV from the Copper Luxury Paper Stack.

I switched out the cherry on top with a Strawberry since it’s a Strawberry Shake and added some real sprinkles on top. The Strawberry I took from theย Tiki Bar SVG File (from the Strawberry Daiquiri Drink on the counter) and enlarged a lot ๐Ÿ˜‰ I drew some small black dots onto it and highlighted with a Sharpie Pen.

Lastly I tied a cute pink ribbon onto the bottom and voila….time to dig in ๐Ÿ˜‰

This Shake is also a box – just lift up the shake and cream and you can put in a small gift or fill it up with treats. It’s quite large! So I thought to myself – can this one be downsized by 50%?

Yes it can!:

This time it’s a Chocolate Shake but made the exact same way only it’s tiny. The cream part is difficult especially if you struggle with stiff fingers etc.

This one has the cherry on top and the sprinkles are small brown glass beads.

The ribbon on this one is a piece of raffia – gosh it’s so yummylicious ๐Ÿ˜› And the great thing about these shakes, is that they are completely free of Calories ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for visiting me (again) today – please let me know how you find the shakes in a comment below – I just love hearing from you โค

Chocolate Bunny Basket

Hello and happy Easter Sunday Morning ๐Ÿ™‚

In this my last Easter post, I want to show you a darling basket I made using the SnapDragon Snippets Basket Lrg 3D Choc Bunny Insert:

This cutie is made from AC Cardstock in Robin’s Egg, Pine, Spinach, Oregano and Key Lime. I decorated it with patterned paper from Graphic 45 “Once Upon a Springtime” and some assorted Prima flowers from my rather large flower stash instead of the Happy Easter sign.

I also used 4 small pink brads to secure the handle and tied a bow in green organza ribbon on top of the handle.

Finally I put in the adorable chocolate bunny and boom! Ready for giving it away – this time to my sister as her Easter Egg from me. I do hope she likes it!

A very easy and most cute project to make for Easter and if you want to put in something else than the bunny, just leave out the insert.

Thank you so much for joining me today and for all my Easter projects – Now it’s time for something else – Let’s see what I come up with ๐Ÿ˜‰

Easter Egg Shaker Bag

Hello ๐Ÿ™‚ So glad you found the time to join me today.

I know I’ve been going a bit cray cray with all kinds of Easter projects lately – I just feel so inspired this year.

This time I’ve thrown myself at the cuteย Easter Egg Hunt Collection from Bird. I felt like having a bit of fun with the files, so I simply combined two of the files into one – The Easter Egg Shaker Card and the Easter Egg Hunt Gift Bag. I also downsized the two files to 50% (so it holds less egg – I’m not a rich girl ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

For this project I used AC Cardstock in Lavender and Vanilla along with cream colored Pearl Paper. I also used various sequins and glitter to put inside the shaker part.

I also added a small Prima Flower and some leaves, decorated the front of the bag with some small gems in purple and pink and tied a organza ribbon on as handle. Then I filled the bag with chocolates ๐Ÿ˜›

All you have to do is follow the instructions videos that Bird made and simply put the shaker part from the card onto the bag insted of the panel piece made for it. I did scramble a bit around with the sizes to make them fit perfectly together – just make sure to group the shaker parts together so they still fit together. The size for the shaker front panel is: 101.46 mm x 78.22 mm (3.994″ x 3.080″ )

Here’s a close-up so you can see the sequins and glitter in the shaker:

A small but easy and fun project that I really hope you feel like making too ๐Ÿ™‚
