Chocolate Favors…..and a Card.

Mmmmmm don’t you just love chocolates? I do and I also love giving it away – mostly so I won’t get any fatter from eating it ๐Ÿ˜€

Nahhhh…….in reality it’s because I think sweet people deserve something sweet and scrumptious once in a while and these cuteย Nugget Sleeves from Tracy Moon Rushton ofย Idea Closet are so darn clever and perfect for giving away such sweets.

Now living in Denmark makes it a bit difficult getting the exact same chocolates – the Hershey’s Nuggets – but I found an alternative that almost fit the same size: Anthon Berg Mini Marzipan Bars ๐Ÿ˜›

DSC_0027

Just think of the possibilities in making these sleeves….They are endless! This is just one suggestion but I see packets with baby pictures or company names on it!

I made it from AC Cardstock in white and Basic Grey patterned paper “Lemonade” (Really old collection) The flowers are from Prima and the small dots are from Doodlebug Design ๐Ÿ™‚

This is the tag to fit the sleeve:

I also made the darlingย A2 Layered Roses Card from Idea Closet:

DSC_0026

I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Pool, Grapefruit, Peach, Banana and Robin’s Egg along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Cafe Parisian”

I used my Epiphany Shape tool 1/2″ round to make the three small epoxy charms in the top of the card and used Doodlebug dots for the flower centers. All edges are inked with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink pads from Prima.

To match the card I also made a small sleeve for three bars:

DSC_0025

Made in AC Cardstock in Vanilla and decorated with “Cafe Parisian” paper it matches perfectly.

The butterflies are cut out of the same paper and so is the tag that reads: “Au Chocolat” (made of chocolate)

DSC_0029

For both tags, I used the Silhouette Sketch pens and sketch feature to write the sentiment as my own handwriting is awful (should have been a doctor…..)

Thanks for joining me today – I really hope you enjoyed the pictures…..please let me know โค

Hippity Hoppity Easter Time

Happy Sunday ๐Ÿ™‚

While snow finally covers the ground here in Denmark, there is no denying that Spring is on the way. Yes we got our portion of snow really late this year – but we got it so I’m happy ๐Ÿ™‚

We are now in the month of March and this year that means the Easter month. I guess that is why this little fella decided to move in with us – Bunny 3D Spheres Figureย from SnapDragon Snippets.

DSC_0012

He is made from AC Cardstock in Chocolate and Black along with glitter paper in Pink and Doodlebug Design paper ” Easter Parade”. The small jewel is from my stash and I dotted his eyes with a white Sharpie. You can find the tutorial for him here

He is so ready to meet all the other Easter creatures around the house and I bet there is going to be some new additions this year too.

Thanks for joining me today – hope your weekend is awesome and that you get a lot of spring crafting done. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Birthday Mom!

My Mom’s birthday is tomorrow and I just want to show you what I made for her (we celebrated today so now it’s ok for me to show you ๐Ÿ˜€ )

Dreaming Tree recently released the Cupid Crush Bundleย and this is where you’ll find the Love Blossom Pop Up Card. DSC_0004

I did alter my version a bit – leaving out some of all the hearts. I also added three flowers from the Apple Blossom Lantern,ย  also from Dreaming Tree, to the front of the card.

I made the card itself from a piece of Prima “Raspberry Tea Collection” paper. Then I added some white pearl paper that I embossed with a Tuscan Tile pattern.

The flowers are made from AC Cardstock in Rosebud and Shrimp and the leaves are in Grass. Then I added some white pearls along with some gold sequins, Doodlebug jewels and a gold embellishment I happened to have in my stash.

The card is a pop up card and here’s a look of the inside of the card:

DSC_0006

It was this gorgeous lush flower that sold this card to me!

I made it from vellum that I inked with Prima chalk ink. The flower center is made from green vellum and the leaves are AC Cardstock in Grass and Key Lime.

So that was the card.

I also made her a flower decoration:

This is the Mothers’s Day Bon Bon Bouquetย again from Dreaming Tree.

I changed out the heart on the front with a Peony flower from the Peony Gift Boxย also a Dreaming Tree design.

The box is made from AC Cardstock in White and decorated with panels made from Prima “Raspberry Tea Collection” paper.

The Peony is made from AC Cardstock in Rosebud and Cotton Candy with leaves in Leaf and the center is Banana.

The Bon Bon Flowers are made from AC Cardstock in Rosebud, Shrimp, Cotton Candy, Lattรฉ and Robin’s Egg and the leaves and tendrils are made from Leaf and Mint.

All edges are inked with Prima Chalk ink.

I’m very sure my Mom loved it – she loves everything that I make her ๐Ÿ˜€

Happy 69’th Birthday tomorrow Mom!

Fun, Fair and Fairytales….

Yay….I’m back on my blog. My absence has not been voluntary but due to a nasty fall last week that has left me with a sprained big toe so walking is not the easiest. So I’ve still been able to craft (only death or paralysis can keep me away from that) but I haven’t been able to shoot any decent pictures of my projects. But today….finally…..I was able with some help.

You’ve properbly seen one or two of my downsized houses and since Winter is still around yet Spring is around the corner, I thought I needed some end of winter/spring decor around the house. So I made these three downsized projects.

First of is the Asian Pagoda from SVGCuts Spring Blossom Kit

DSC_0007

This cutie is downsized to by 50% and that made it a bit more tricky to make even though I think it’s pretty easy. Just not much room for fat fingers in some of the corners ๐Ÿ˜‰

I made it from AC Cardstock in Grapefruit, Peach, Pansy, Spinach, Pacific and Vanilla along with patterned papers from Graphic 45s Secret Garden and Botanical Tea.

All edges are inked with chalk ink pads from Prima and the tiny gems are from my stash.

This is totally cute in this small size โค

Next I made the Ferris Wheel from Summer Street Carnival Kit:

DSC_0012

This one is also downsized by 50% and I must admit that it was much easier and fun to make it in this small size or maybe I’ve just practiced a lot more since last time I made it in full size.

I used AC Cardstock in Grapefruit, Grass, Coffee, Banana and Vanilla along with patterned paper from Graphic 45s Time To Celebrate.

I inked all edges with chalk ink pad from Prima, used hibachi skewers for the wheel and the carts and used some Doodlebug Sprinkles as embellishment.

I originally wanted to install lights in this but thought about it and not everything I make has to have lights ๐Ÿ˜€

Finally I made the Castle from Dreaming Trees Enchanted Winterland Bundle:

DSC_0016

Like the two other projects, I downsized this one too by 50% and it didn’t make it any less cute ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a bit tough to reach into some of the places and gluing down the middle building to the large tower, but otherwise it just went together like a charm.

I used AC Cardstock in Grapefruit, Turf, Ocean and Pansy along with patterned paper from Graphic 45s newest collection Fairie Dust and Best Creation White Glitter Paper.

I inked all the patterned paper edges with Chalk ink pads from Prima and found some small pearls to stick and glue on tooth picks for the flags and roofs of the towers.

In this one I have installed light and I went for the “Winter-is-over-and-the-snow-is-melting-in-Fairie-Land” kinda look ๐Ÿ˜€ I think I succeeded ๐Ÿ™‚

Tomorrow I’ll be back to show you a project that I finally managed to finish and that is something out of this world ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for visiting today – hope you’ll come back tomorrow to find out what I’ve been up to ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yuletide Greetings

Hello again ๐Ÿ™‚ So nice of you to come back again ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I’m going to show you the cards I made for the gift bags and presents I made for my girlfriends.

Really I had stopped making Christmas cards since it’s so difficult to send and waaay to expensive, but since I gave the bags away last Friday at my Birthday party, I thought it only fitting to have a card along with the presents.

And I just had to make these cards! I’m talking about SVGCuts’ Yuletide Box Cards. I fell in love with these instantly and how awesome is it that they are so easy and fast to make.

First of the Star Box Card:

DSC_0006

It’s made from White AC Cardstock and decorated with White Glitter cardstock from Best Creation and Gold Foil. I simply added a small star gem in the middle – it really didn’t need anything else.

Then there’s the Nativity Box Card:

DSC_0008

This is made from White AC Cardstock and decorated with gold foil and gold glitter paper along with patterned paper from Dovecraft “Time to Sparkle”

On to the Gingerbread House Box Card:

DSC_0010

This cutie is made from AC Cardstock in Chocolate and decorated with White Glitter Paper from Best Creation and different dots the colored ones from Doodlebug Design. Oh it’s so yummy ๐Ÿ˜›

Next is the Rooftops Box Card:

DSC_0014

This card is made from White, Black and Banana AC Cardstock and decorated with patterned paper from Dovecraft “Time to Sparkle” I also painted on some Stickles Glitter glue to make it look frosty ๐Ÿ™‚

Finally I made the Amaryllis Box Card (my favorite)

DSC_0012

This card is made from AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Rouge, Crimson, Pine and Spinach and decorated with patterned paper from Dovecraft “Time to Sparkle” and gold foil. I added some small dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers.

I really hope the girls are happy with the small gift I made for them. I just didn’t feel like leaving them out of the joy of giving โค

Thanks for stopping by and I really hope you too enjoyed the projects I made and that it gave you some inspiration for making your own presents.
