Breakfast at…..

…..Müllers 😀

Hiya – soo good of you to drop by today as I invite you to breakfast here at my house.

I’ll be serving the traditional feast of Bacon and Eggs along with some nice hot toasts and a cup of coffee. Sounds good? Well here we go:

Always coffee first:

DSC_0006

This is a cute coffee cup from Creatieve Papier Uitspattingen – a new (for me) place with SVG’s that I recently found.

I made the cup with AC Cardstock in Vanilla and decorated it with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Home Sweet Home”.

I filled a bag with coffee beans and put it in and if these were made of chocolate, it would be ready to give away as a small hostess gift.

Next is the food:

DSC_0008

This is also from Creatieve Papier Uitspattigen – except the bacon which I found in the Silhouette Design Store design #4747.

The egg is part of a freebie with a cute frying pan. I couldn’t get the pan assembled so instead I scaled up the saucer from above and turned it into a dinner plate.

It’s also made from AC Cardstock in Vanilla and decorated with Graphic 45 paper.

The Egg and bacon are also made from AC Cardstock in White, Melon, Brown Sugar, Chocolate and Caramel.

I inked the edges of the egg whites to make them look a bit fried 😉 Yummy

Finally we need the toats:

DSC_0010

Yeah….WOW…..it looks totally real! Find it here.

This toaster is made from AC Cardstock in Black and decorated with silver metal cardstock and a tiny enamel dot on the regulator.

The toasts are made from AC Cardstock in Brown Sugar and Caramel and inked heavily with a brown ink pad from Ingvild Bolme.

And here is the complete breakfast setting:

DSC_0004

So I will see you later….I promise to serve you some hot coffee and not just the beans 😀

Thanks for stopping by today – I hope you enjoyed your meal and that you’ll come back to visit real soon ❤

50 shades of …..

RUST 😉

Hello – so glad you chose to visit my blog today 🙂

Just popping in with a small post, to show you the cute, fun and awesome not to mention vintage Pickup Truck from Simply Crafty Svgs, I made last night:

DSC_0007

This adorable pile of rust is made from AC Cardstock in Cranberry, Black and White and decorated with Silver Mercury Glass Cardstock from DCWV.

The headlights are two large gems from my stash that just fitted perfectly and the license plate is made using the Silhouette Sketch pen function with my Silhouette Cameo.

Here’s a rear view:

DSC_0010

The tail lights are also two gems from my stash. The back end is decorated with a panel embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder.

And a sideview:

DSC_0011

To achieve the rusty look, I rubbed some Copper Metallique Wax on all edges and smudged on here and there too.

This truck is surprisingly easy to make – just follow along the great tutorial video Sandy of Simply Crafty Svgs made.

Such a truck needs loads of gas, so I had to make the  Vintage Gas Pump from Cre8tive Cutz too:

DSC_0003

For this I used AC Cardstock in Pomegranate, Black and Vanilla along with a dark grey Bling Cardstock from Bazzill. This too was smudged in Metallique Wax

DSC_0005

The hose is a piece of Hemp cord from my stash – I just love these small awesome details on the pump ❤

And here they are together:

DSC_0002

This was a really fun and easy project to make. The truck was a bit time consuming but it has the coolest details and I really encourage you to have a go! So much more easy than it looks. Just imagine this one for Autumn with pumpkins in the back or for Christmas – driving home with the tree 😉

Thanks for stopping by today – hope you enjoyed the pictures and that you are inspired to go make your own now 🙂

Mother’s Day in the Garden

Hello, happy Sunday and happy Mother’s Day.

There wasn’t a shadow of a doubt about what I wanted to show you today as it is Mother’s Day. The only thing that teased me, was what to choose as SVGAttic and SnapDragon Snippets has so many wonderful Mother’s Day files to choose from.

Not that my own Mother doesn’t enjoy the garden, she just has lots of other hobbies but I know a lot of Mothers out there thrive in the green and loves to get dirt under their nails, so I went with a garden theme.

And this is what I came up with:

DSC_0006

First of is the 3D Garden Hat that I made from AC Cardstock in Brown Sugar and Straw along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Botanical Tea” collection and two small silver colored eyelets.

I also decorated it with some Prima flowers from my stash in coordinating colors and a butterfly also from Prima.

This hat is very easy to make so it’s perfect for everybody both beginner paper crafters and the more advanced.

Next is the 3D Garden Spade:

DSC_0008

This one is also very easy to make and it’s so realistic,  I fear somebody’s going to bring it into the garden for shoveling 😀

I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla and Bazzill Bling Cardstock in Tungsten along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Botanical Tea” collection.

I also tied some pink twine on the handle.

Then I made a flower in a pot:

DSC_0011

This is a somewhat fantasy kind of a flower inspired by Hydrangeas.

For the flower itself I used ½ styrofoam ball on which I pinned several small flowers from the Flower Five Petal Leaf Cluster cut out in Graphic 45 patterned paper (Botanical Tea) As flower center I added small sequins.

The ball is then glued or pop-dotted onto a large flower from the SDS 3D Cake Box Kit (without the candle) cut in AC Cardstock in Bubblegum. Then I cut out some leaves from the Flower Five Petal Leaf Cluster in Cricket AC Cardstock and glued them underneath the flower and placed it onto the pot.

The Flower Ball Topiary 3D Pot is made from Vanilla AC Cardstock and decorated with “Botanical Tea” paper. For filler I used some Spanish Moss. Isn’t it cute?

This project is for the bit more advanced crafters but I really encourage everyone to try it 🙂

Last but not least I made the adorable Tea Cup 3D Container also from SnapDragon Snippets:

DSC_0014

The cup is cut from AC Cardstock in Vanilla and decorated with Graphic 45 patterned paper “Botanical Tea”. The Tea Bag Tag is the small in the set and is cut from Graphic 45’s paper and decorated with a small chipboard tag from Graphic 45’s “Time to Flourish” collection and tied onto the cup with a length of scrap floss. Finally I added a Prima butterfly and filled the cup with sweets (chocolate covered roasted almonds)

This cup is rather large so if you’re not into spending a fortune on candy (like I did), you can fill some tissue paper into the cup first for filler 😉

And all together now 😉 :

DSC_0004

So what do you think of this project? Let me know in a comment 🙂

Thanks for visiting today – I hope to see you again real soon ❤

Tiki Party Fun

Slowly but sure…..Spring is turning into Summer and before we know it, we’ll be having BBQ’s, Pool Parties or Beach fun again….YAY! Can’t wait. Long for that hot summer sun, blue skies and cool breeze while I sip my Mojito on the porch 😛

I really need to have a Summer Party and especially a Tiki Party and even though I haven’t planned one yet, I made decorations 😀 That is so me! Maybe I have to settle with having these to decorate my house instead 😉

To start with I made the cute and fun Tropical Banner from SVGCut’s Tiki Party kit:

DSC_0006

I made it out of AC Cardstock in Oregano, Olive, Key Lime, Scarlet and Melon. The ink I used is Ingvild Bolme from Prima and the small dots are from Doodlebug Design.

This one is downsized by 50% to match the size ratio of the rest of the things I made 🙂

Next is the Tiki Bar from Simply Crafty SVGs:

DSC_0008

This fun and very cool bar is made from AC Cardstock in Chestnut, Brown Sugar, Melon, Scarlet, Rouge, Oregano, Peacock, Vanilla, Rain, and Coffee along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Safari Adventure”

I inked all the edges with Ingvild Bolme Ink pads and used a couple of Palm Leaves (Design ID #1696) and Hibiscus (Design ID #62344) from the Silhouette Design Store to decorate the Tiki Bar Sign.

Then I added a LED Color shifting Tea Light inside but that is not that visible in daylight.

Then I made a couple of 3D Tiki Torches from SnapDragon Snippets:

DSC_0014

These I downsized by 50% but they are still rather large compared to the bar 😀

They are made from AC Cardstock in Black and Brown Sugar along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Safari Adventure” and some gold Pearl Paper. I made both sizes that comes with the file.

And there is more……

Here it’s the Palm Tree 3d Nut Cup Place Card also from SnapDragon Snippets:

DSC_0010

This one is made from AC Cardstock in Brown Sugar, Chocolate, Chestnut, Oregano and Keylime along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Safari Adventure”. I also used Ingvild Bolme Ink pads on this one.

I made it as large as possible on the mat but kept the size of the hole for the treat cup.

To make it look like a pool, I made some Blue Jell-o in the treat cup and added a little ….Ehm….surprise….

Finally I made a Tiki Shaker Bag from the Tiki Card and Hibiscus Gift Bag from Bird’s Club Tropicana Collection:

DSC_0016

I adore this Tiki ❤

The bag is made from patterned paper by Graphic 45 “Safari Adventure” and the flower and Tiki are made from AC Cardstock in Chestnut, Rouge, Scarlet and Melon.

Then I filled some glitter and confetti into the shaker in green and gold colors and used some raffia as handles.

The bag and Tiki are sized down by 50%

Isn’t he fun?

Here is the whole lot together:

DSC_0002

Thanks for joining me today – I really hope you’re as excited for Summer as I am and maybe you want to have a go at some of these cuties for your Tiki/Summer/Pool/Beach party this year 😀 Let me know in a comment!

Oh…..the surprise?…..Here it is:

DSC_0018

Don’t want to find that guy in my pool!!!!

Flowers for the Birthday Girl

I always try to remember to bring a little something for the hostess when going to a Birthday party. It could be flowers or chocolates or this:

DSC_0008

This is the Box Hex Med with Lid from SnapDragon Snippets (also available in the Silhouette Design Store) that I downsized by 50%.

I made this for my niece who invited us over for her Birthday last Sunday and it was instead of a flower.

It is made from AC Cardstock in Black and Peacock and decorated with Graphic 45s “Floral Shoppe” patterned paper. I used a little resin rose in black as the handle on top of the lid.

In this box I put some Ricola Original Swiss Herb Bon Bons because it matched so well with the floral paper 😉

c7c95928-e4d6-11e4-8cde-2490b0625cb3

I do hope she likes these candies (I do 😉 )

I also made her a card to match:

DSC_0006

This adorable Bloom Flowers 5×7 Card is also from SnapDragon Snippets but can also be found in the Silhouette Design Store.

It’s made from AC Cardstock in Banana, Vanilla, Oregano, Peacock, Rosebud, Cranberry, Mustard, Leaf, White and Kraft Wood patterned cardstock also from AC.

All edges are inked with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink Pads and the two small wooden dots are from My Minds Eye.

The sentiment say “Congratulations” in Danish and is written with the sketch pen option in the Silhouette Software.

DSC_0004

She got a Birthday gift as well 🙂 I love my niece – nothing is too good for her 🙂

Thanks for joining me today and please feel free to leave me a small comment on your way out ❤

More Spring projects to come soon – so stay tuned 😉

Springtime Bouquet

Hello again 🙂

Just popping in for a quick little post on the cute Spring-y flower bouquet I made last night 🙂 The flowers being from the devine bundle from Dreaming Tree Alluring Florals.

DSC_0003

I was going for only making the Gardenias, but it got too white and neutral for my taste, so I made some more flowers to make a small but very cute bouquet and put it in a Mason jar. Then I tied some hemp ribbon in a bow on the jar.

But to start with the Gardenia:

DSC_0004

It’s made from AC Cardstock in White, Pine and Mint. I didn’t chalk the flower petals but only the stems and the leaves.

This is by far the easiest of all the flowers to make 🙂 Imagine a whole bouquet of them as Wedding Bouquet ❤

To make this bouquet extra Spring-y I decided to make a Daffodil too and I used the one from the Daffodilly Spring bundle.

DSC_0006

I used AC Cardstock in Banana, Melon and Spinach for this Daffodil and inked all the edges with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink 🙂

To mount it on the stem, I just used the same technique as for the rest of the flowers 🙂 – that went surprisingly well 🙂

The rest of the flowers are the same as for the Floral Arrangement I posted yesterday but here are some pictures of the ones in the bouquet 😉

I really hope you like this as much as I do – maybe I’ll give that Wedding Bouquet a spin in the future 🙂 I think that’ll look awesome.

Thanks for joining me today – please do leave me some love in a comment ❤

Floral Therapy

Hello again and welcome back 🙂

Yes! I finished my Floral Arrangement from the amazing bundle Alluring Florals by Dreaming Tree.

It did take me some time – partly because I was a bit intimidated by it and partly because life happened 😉 I’m not good with flowers – I usually leave that to my sister with the green fingers and an amazing eye for arranging flowers, but I want to learn. I’m the kind of “if-you’re-not-good-at-it-get-better”-type of person 😀

So I took my time and made the arrangement. And yes…..it is therapy. All the inking and shaping – it takes time but is very relaxing and meditative 🙂

And this is how it came out:

DSC_0008

For the planter I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla and Spinach along with patterned paper from Graphic 45s “Floral Shoppe” – I’m crazy about that quote: “The Earth laughs in Flowers” 🙂

DSC_0009

For the Fantasy Flowers I used AC Cardstock in Mint and Orchid and inked the edges with VersaMagic Multi-Surface Chalk Ink in Purple Hydrangea.

DSC_0010

For the Mum I used AC Cardstock in Cantaloupe, Bubblegum and Spinach and inked all the edges with matching chalk ink from Ingvild Bolme.

DSC_0011

The Iris is made from AC Cardstock in Pansy, Cantaloupe and Mint and chalked with VersaMagic Multi-Surface Chalk Ink in “Pretty Petunia” and Chalk ink from Ingvild Bolme in matching colors.

DSC_0012

The rose is made from AC Cardstock in Peach, Banana and Spinach and is inked with Ingvild Bolme Chalk ink in matching colors.

I couldn’t find the right paper wrapped floral stems, so I made my own from paper wrapped 18 gauge floral stems for sugar flowers and 4 pieces of Wine Twist Tie and then wrapped them in floral tape. Works just fine 🙂

I would love to be able to just arrange the flowers in some kind of wild arrangement but I simply followed Leo’s directions in the tutorial just to be safe 😀 and added Artificial Baby’s Breath where I liked it to be.

So now that that is finished, I’m moving on to the Gardenias and hope that my idea for them works out – more on that in a later post.

Thanks for joining me today – I really appreciate when you write me a small comment to let me know if you liked what I made or if you have any questions to the projects or just want to say hi ❤

Chocolate Favors…..and a Card.

Mmmmmm don’t you just love chocolates? I do and I also love giving it away – mostly so I won’t get any fatter from eating it 😀

Nahhhh…….in reality it’s because I think sweet people deserve something sweet and scrumptious once in a while and these cute Nugget Sleeves from Tracy Moon Rushton of Idea Closet are so darn clever and perfect for giving away such sweets.

Now living in Denmark makes it a bit difficult getting the exact same chocolates – the Hershey’s Nuggets – but I found an alternative that almost fit the same size: Anthon Berg Mini Marzipan Bars 😛

DSC_0027

Just think of the possibilities in making these sleeves….They are endless! This is just one suggestion but I see packets with baby pictures or company names on it!

I made it from AC Cardstock in white and Basic Grey patterned paper “Lemonade” (Really old collection) The flowers are from Prima and the small dots are from Doodlebug Design 🙂

This is the tag to fit the sleeve:

DSC_0028

I also made the darling A2 Layered Roses Card from Idea Closet:

DSC_0026

I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Pool, Grapefruit, Peach, Banana and Robin’s Egg along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Cafe Parisian”

I used my Epiphany Shape tool 1/2″ round to make the three small epoxy charms in the top of the card and used Doodlebug dots for the flower centers. All edges are inked with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink pads from Prima.

To match the card I also made a small sleeve for three bars:

DSC_0025

Made in AC Cardstock in Vanilla and decorated with “Cafe Parisian” paper it matches perfectly.

The butterflies are cut out of the same paper and so is the tag that reads: “Au Chocolat” (made of chocolate)

DSC_0029

For both tags, I used the Silhouette Sketch pens and sketch feature to write the sentiment as my own handwriting is awful (should have been a doctor…..)

Thanks for joining me today – I really hope you enjoyed the pictures…..please let me know ❤

The Wild West

We all know that finding something to make for a guy’s Birthday is tough. Usually most of the kits and files out there are cute, feminin or for kids. But Mary from SVGCuts just made it a whole lot easier crafting something cool for a man – with the amazing Wildflower Saloon Kit. I couldn’t keep myself from making most of the parts of the kit because it is just da bomb!!!

So first I made the Whiskey Barrel:

DSC_0010

I made mine in AC Cardstock in Caramel and Black and embossed all the panels with Darice Woodgrain Embossing folder. Then I inked all with different shades of brown ink pads from Prima Ingvild Bolme. On the rings I have rubbed Prima Metallique Wax in Rich Copper, Brushed Iron and Aged Brass and added some Tim Holtz brads.

Don’t be intimidated by the barrel – it is very easy to make!

Next I made the Cowboy Hat:

DSC_0013

This is downsized to 75% in order to keep the size ratio with the barrel. I made mine from AC Cardstock in Chestnut and tied some hemp cord around the top.

This is actually a box and it is so easy to make. I had it done in no time 🙂

Then there’s the Rustic Lantern:

DSC_0008

This amazing design is also downsized to 75% and is made from AC Cardstock in Coffee and some Vellum. All of the pieces are rubbed with Prima Metallique Wax in Bronze Age, Rich Copper and Aged Brass.

I can’t get the Darice light here in Denmark, so I put in a 20 piece LED sting of lights inside instead. Works just as well 🙂

This one is a bit more challenging to make (especially if you downsize it) but it’s nothing you can’t handle 🙂 Just takes a bit more time and Mary has a wonderful tutorial video for you to follow 🙂

Next I made a pair of Cowboy Boots – these are NOT from the Wildflower Saloon Kit but from an older kit called Happy Trails:

DSC_0015

The boots are also downsized to 75% and I used AC Cardstock in Chestnut and Coffee along with some silver pearl paper. I used a Damask patterned embossing folder from Cuttlebug on the panels and a Leopard Print embossing folder, also from Cuttlebug, on the inside panels. Then I used some Tim Holtz brads on the backstraps and top straps and inked the embossing with some dark brown Prima chalk ink.

Finally I made the adorable Trunk of Wildflowers Box Card:

DSC_0017

For the card I used AC Cardstock in Chestnut, Mint, Oregano, Moss, Rosebud, Vanilla, Melon, and Canary along with patterned paper from Graphic45s French Country. I also used some copper colored pearl paper for the hardware. On the handles I used Tim Holtz brads and on the hardware I used some copper colored brads I found in my stash.

I also decorated the flowers with different pearls and gems from my stash and inked all the edges with Prima Chalk ink (Ingvild Bolme).

This card looks difficult but it isn’t. Just follow the instructions on the PDF or watch Marys tutorial.

And here it is – in all its glory 😀 Yee Haw!

DSC_0006

I want to thank you for joining me today – it was so much fun to put these things together and I really hope you’ll make some of your own ❤

Colors of the Rainbow

Hello – so happy you joined me today 🙂

This time it’s not going to be about Easter :-O

If you have followed my blog for some time, you know that I’m crazy about color and this next project is no exception.

These delightful and cute Single Test Tube Holders from Paper Closet Designs – all designed by the very talented Tracy Moon Rushton, can be decorated and used in endless ways and this is just one idea that I’m about to show you 🙂

DSC_0004

Putting candy in a test tube and displaying it in a cute holder, is just sheer genius to me. I know lots of kids who love to have these to share with their buddies or classmates. So great for theme Birthdays and even for adults too 😉

So I made these in the colors of the rainbow with a big help from Doodlebug Design Papers and the first one is Red:

DSC_0006

Red is made from AC Cardstock in Black and patterned paper from the “Back to School” collection. I found the apple and the other Doddlebug Shapes in the Silhouette Design Store but you can also get these from Lori Whitlock. I glued the cut out the black cut out circle onto the lid and decorated with 3 Doodlebug Sprinkles in red colors.

Next is Pink:

DSC_0008

I know! I cheated a bit with this one as it’s not a rainbow color but the cute fish-bone paper from the “Kitten Smitten” collection spoke to me and so did the cute kitten. The holder it-self is made from AC Cardstock in Bubblegum.

Then we have Orange:

DSC_0010

I had a bit more difficulty choosing the paper for this one but ended up with a patterned paper from the “Anchors Aweigh” collection and a little boat. The cardstock is AC in the color Apricot.

Now it’s Yellow:

DSC_0012

For this one I used AC Cardstock in Robin’s Egg and patterned paper from the “Spring Things” Collection. That bee is just so darn cute!

Then we have Green:

DSC_0014

This is made from AC Cardstock in Cheastnut and patterned paper from the “At the Zoo” collection and I decorated with the cutest Mama and baby girafs.

After Green comes Blue:

DSC_0016

For this one I chose AC Cardstock in Grass and patterned paper from the “Dragon Tail” collection. I just love this fire blowing dragon.

Last but not least there is Purple:

DSC_0018

This cutie is made from AC Cardstock in white and decorated with patterned paper from the “Fairy Tales” collection. Tell me – which girl can stand for this adorable little unicorn?

There you have them all! For all the little decorations, I’ve used the Print and Cut option on my Silhouette Cameo. Even though there are 7 holders, it didn’t take me long to have them all cut and assembled. A super easy project – luckily if you’re going to make them as party favors or for an entire school class 🙂

DSC_0002

Thanks for joining me today and please remember to leave me a small comment so I know if you liked this project ❤
