At the End of the Rainbow…..

….is a pot of gold πŸ™‚

This I’ve been told a million times as a kid and I’ve re-told this legend to my own kids (they’re not as gullible as their Mom πŸ˜‰ )

This tale of gold is the same whether you’re from Denmark, Ireland or the USA etc. The symbol of luck – the four leaf clover – is also a international symbol.

We don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Denmark (unless you’re of Irish decent) but I still found it fun to make this pot of gold at the end of the rainbow – to pay some tribute to the Irish πŸ™‚

For this project I used the Witch’s Cauldron from Simply Crafty Svgs. It’s made from AC Cardstock in Black and Shamrock along with Green Glitter paper. I left out the handles on the cauldron as it’s a pot πŸ˜‰

I used the Shamrock from the Leprechaun Hat Treat Box as embellishment and the rainbow is a file from Miss Kate Cuttables that I modified a bit.

I used my Cricut Maker for this project and it was because I wanted to use my new Debossing Tool. I did not over do it πŸ˜€ – just a horse shoe here and a shamrock there just to try it out. This is cool….already thinking up new projects to use it for πŸ™‚

Now I just waiting for the boys to come home and be the Leprechauns they usually are, stealing all the gold from the pot πŸ˜€

I want to wish a Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of you that celebrate.

Thanks for joining me today. It’s crazy times right now. Countries are shutting down, schools are closed and I think most people are pretty scared right now. Luckily we can’t get infected online, so it’s still safe to visit each other here πŸ™‚ Stay safe out in the real world ❀
