….finally done 🙂 I’ve spent the most of a week or so thinking, making and embellishing boxes. Gorgeous and usable boxes from SnapDragon Snippets designed by Jodi G. Warner. I think I’m somewhat addicted to making these boxes 😀 LOL
First off – The Four Drawers Box: (found here )
I made the main box in AC Cardstock Latté and added panels of patterned paper from Graphic 45’s Vintage Hollywood. The colors are so vibrant so I had to place an equally colorful flower (made from different Prima flowers) in the top corner along with two leaves and embellished with a small metal charm. The knobs and feet are from Ideaology.
The box is pretty easy to assemble but the drawers is a tight fit so be careful when you open these 🙂 The assembly tutorial is found here.
For this adorable box, I used Kraft Cardstock and patterned paper from Graphic 45’s Botanicabella. I used some clear acetate for the window and a metal handle and feet that I found online. The flowers are made from various Prima flowers and the butterfly is also found online and I embellished it with some gem studs from my stash.
The box is very sturdy and usable either as keepsake or storage. It’s really handy with the window in the lid to see what’s inside and the box was pretty easy to assemble. The assembly tutorial is found here.
For this cutie I used Kraft Cardstock and Graphic 45’s By the Sea. I found some different embellishments in my stash like some sea shells, starfish and seahorse along with the feet. The handle is from Ideaology.
This box is also very sturdy and useful. Very easy to assemble especially when you’ve assembled some like it before 😉 A fantastic box that I think I’m gonna use as a keepsake for things found at the beach 🙂 The assembly tutorial is found here.
For this box I used AC Cardstock Black and Graphic 45’s Halloween in Wonderland. I chose this paper due to the lock and key embellishments also from SnapDragon Snippets (found here for the lock + here for the key or here for the lock + here for the key) It just seem to match up 🙂 The paper I used for the lock and key are by DCWV and is called Mercury Glass Cardstock. The flower is made from various Prima Flowers and the feet are found online.
This box is also very sturdy and useful. I really like how it closes with the latch flap. This box also assembles rather easy 🙂 The assembly tutorial is found here.
For this gorgeous box I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla and Graphic 45’s Communiqué. The flowers are made from various Prima flowers and the metal butterflies are from my stash. The hinges, pull-handle and feet are all from Ideaology.
This box is a bit trickier that the others but if you are careful to place the inner wall the right way, its easy peasy from there on. This is such a cute and useful box – sturdy too. Would be awesome as a gift for a Grand-parent or such. The assembly tutorial is found here.
So this is what I’ve been working on for some time now. Didn’t help much that I had to wait forever on some of the embellishments due to our crabby postal service (some are still on their way 😦 ) But I’m very pleased with the results and would love if you would write and tell me what you think.
Thanks Jodi for making such awesome boxes ❤
