Elegance….

….the first word that popped into my head when I saw the new kit – Brunch PartyΒ – from SVGCuts. I especially fell in love with the Elegant Gown that Mary created. WOW. It just screams wedding or Confirmation (at least here in Denmark πŸ˜‰ ) And it was Confirmation I had in mind when I made my version of the dress:

I used AC Cardstock in white for this and added some pink glitter paper to contrast. I used sequin ribbon as a belt and some cute crocheted flowers my Mom made me some time back πŸ™‚ Finally I also added some white tulle. The embossing folder I used for the middle part of the dress is from Craft Concepts and is called “Tuscan Tiles”.

The gorgeous pink shade recur in the Gerbera flowers from Lia GriffithΒ that I made to go with the dress:

I used AC cardstock in Taffy, Limeanade and Pine to create the flowers and several pieces of wire covered in floral tape for the stem. I just love how they came out! ❀

So here is a picture of the entire arrangement:

Wouldn’t is just be the perfect table decor for the wedding of your dreams or for the girl Confirmation? I would die to be able to wear a dress like that! πŸ˜€ I pictured it could be used as a center decoration or maybe one on each table as a flower vase.

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to leave a small comment for me ❀

Brunch Party

Ribbons…..

….they always seem to be everywhere in the craft room….tangled up and scattered everywhere πŸ˜€ Unless you have one of those handy ribbon storage bags/boxes. I would have but I find them wayyy to expensive. So why not make your own????

I found this cute Button Box from the SeamstressΒ kit from Birds SVGs

and one look at it and I knew this would be perfect for ribbon storage. I only had to make a divider to make 4 rooms in it and voila – perfection.

The ribbons are accessible through the holes in the lid.

I used AC Cardstock in Wine for the box and added an extra top ring layer in pink glitter paper for some sparkle.

The only thing left now is to make a ton of these for all my loose ribbons hiding around in my room πŸ˜‰ And if you don’t want to use for ribbon, pop some cookies in and give it away to your crafty girlfriend πŸ˜‰

This is my first project as Design Team Member at Birds SVGs. I’m so excited to be on her team and I’m looking forward to making lots of fun projects with her awesome files.
