….the kids are in their room doing their homework – Dad is fixing things inside and outside the house. All is quiet. Can you imagine this amazing setting??? Yeah…me neither 😀 Usually this home is crazy circus with kids running in and out, screaming and yelling, parents running around doing chores and cleaning up after the kids….A circus! Just as in almost all normal homes 😀 LOL
My project today was originally meant as a gift for a girlfriend and I had it all planned differently in my head. But things just doesn’t work out the way I planned it. So I had to do it all differently. So instead of a present, I made this for my home:
See this 6×6 Mini Marquee Frame by Jodi G. Warner (silhouette Design Store id# 158944) was originally designed to work with “Deco Lights teeny bulbs” by Darice. I can’t get these in Denmark so I had to make the holes somewhat larger and use “Marquee Love” Light Stand Kit (a string of lights with 24 bulbs) by Heidi Swapp and Multi colored bulbs also from Heidi Swapp. I recommend that you either adjust the small collar circles to size of the lights or leave them out. I also left off the Battery Housing Support Platform so the frame is able to hang on the wall. The quote is from the Silhouette Design Store ( design #143141) and I only changed out the word “house” with “circus” 😉 Then I colored some of the words, the cup and the wineglass and printed it. The entire frame is made from Black and White AC Cardstock.
So from now on, the truth is on the wall 😀 and I have to make another something for my girlfriend’s birthday 😉

….with lots of gorgeous Spring flowers 😉
SVG Cuts has recently announced that they’re hosting a Spring Challenge and naturally I wanted to enter 🙂 So what to make? I had this idea about a cup with some flowers in it to begin with but it evolved into this:
A levitating cup that pours out spring flowers onto a plate/saucer on a pedetal 🙂
I used multiple SVG Cuts files for this one: 3D Flowers SVG Kit (Daffodils), Cherry Blossoms Mini SVG Collection (twigs), Mom’s Garden Gifts SVG Kit (small yellow flowers), Spring Blossoms SVG Kit (Cherry blossoms), Tea For You and Me SVG Kit (Teacup, Saucer and Teaspoon) and Fairy Cottage SVG Kit (Pedestal/Cake stand and Butterfly)
I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Dandelion, Peach, Spinach, Robin’s Egg, Melon, Olive, Latté, Butter and Chestnut. The patterend paper is Once Upon A Springtime by Graphic 45 and I used some yellow sprinkles from Doodlebug Design along with some small pink pearls from Mark Richards.
Now this darling project is a part of my Spring Decor in my living room, safe under “the Dome” 😉
So if you think my project deserves your vote in the Spring Challenge, Jump right over here: SVG Cuts Spring Challenge. I appreciate all the help I can get ❤
Thanks for stopping by and please let me know how you like my project ❤
….and with it comes weddings ❤ One of the biggest dreams of some little girls is to have a beautiful and romantic wedding and being one of the biggest, most important days of their lives, everything has to be perfect. Right down from the dress to the table settings and decor. And one of those things just got a lot easier 😉 Dreaming Tree just released their newest bundle All my Loving. Although it appears to be a Valentines Day bundle, its very easy to make it into a wedding theme instead – like I did here with the Valentine Centerpiece Luminary:
I used AC cardstock in White and Vanilla along with Bazzill “White Wedding Pin Stripe” cardstock, POW glitter paper from AC in Caramel and “Gilded Lily” from Graphic 45. I decorated it with some white pearls and white flowers (from Prima) and some small yellow resin flowers from my stash. Finally I cut a long piece of white tulle and tied it around the battery operated candle, and decorated the bow with a small adhesive jewel piece. Wouldn’t this be wonderful as a centerpiece?
To match this gorgeous centerpiece I made the Valentine Gift Box
I used the same materials as for the centerpiece but switched out the Vanilla cardstock with Caramel. I decorated the box with white tulle flowers instead of hearts to give it more of a wedding feel. The flower on top was much fun to assemble.
Hope my projects will give you inspiration to make your own versions whether it be Valentine, Wedding or maybe an Anniversary 🙂 Have fun with it…. Thanks for stopping by ❤
