…..who doesn’t love candy? 😉 And for Halloween and Christmas there’s is going to be loads of it. So why not make something cute and practical for these occasions 🙂 Dreaming Tree thought of this with their new bundle Frank and Friends – the Halloween Treat Box:
I made mine with AC Cardstock in Black, Charcoal and Mustard along with POW Glitter paper in Grape and white Glitter Paper (AC) The cute but spooky cameo is from Tim Holtz. It’s so easy to cut out and assemble – so its a great project to get children involved in.
But back to Christmas….I altered the treat box to work for Christmas as well:
For this I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Black and Emerald along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “St. Nicholas” and glitter paper in Gold and White (AC) I found the snowflakes, trees and Santa in his sleigh among Dreaming Tree’s other bundles Christmas Bendi Cards (Believe and Silent Night Bendi cards) and It’s Cold Outside (Peppy Penguins Cascade Card) I also added some small gold dots from AC to the snowflakes and cut out some small “stamps” from the 8×8 paper pad from Graphic 45. The text reads “Merry Christmas” in Danish.
So now I’m all set when it comes to serving candy for both Halloween and Christmas 🙂 Please leave a small comment to tell me what you think of these projects 🙂
