Today its Fathers Day and no Fathers Day without presents for Dad. My kids don’t want to make their own presents (go figure) so I get to play (Yay 😀 ) This year I had a lot of projects to choose from, but here’s what I went with:
First off a real Dad appreciation gift:
This trophy is from Cre8ivecutz. I used a chocolate brown AC cardstock and gold foiled cardstock. Then I put some glitter tape around each box for some extra bling. The shield reads: The worlds sweetest Dad (Fii is their nickname for him). I used the print and cut feature on the Silhouette Cameo to make this. All in all a really easy and quick project to make 🙂 and needless to say he LOVED it 🙂
Then for the present:
The gift box is from Bits of Paper by Jamie Lane and is originally a Christmas gift box with snowflake embellishment but I used a Silhouette Design Store design of a Superman Logo instead – after all Dad is a superhero 😉 The paper that I used is from Graphic 45’s collection “Artisan Style” and of course AC cardstock in black and Rouge (red) I pop-dotted the logo on the band and also on the band so that it wouldn’t scooch off.
So this is what I made for my kids Dad this year…..can’t wait to see all of the other projects around (love to get some new ideas for next year) 🙂
Summer has com early this year – it’s freaking hot outside and for this Viking woman heat is NOT all that good, so I’ll just stay inside my cooler cave (its at least 4 degrees cooler than outside) and think up some new projects – so ’till next time…..C ya and thanks for visiting 🙂
